ABOUT DJAG
Welcome to DJAG - Danish Jewish Awareness Group. We are a dynamic and committed group of both Jews and non-Jews who have joined forces in a common mission: to communicate and spread a more nuanced and well-informed understanding of Israel and its people. We all share a passion for promoting dialogue, understanding and respect between cultures. Through a wide range of initiatives and outreach plans, we strive to challenge stereotypes, create connections and promote a more broadly representative and accurate image of Israel.
Mission
Our mission is deeply rooted in our Danish values of freedom, diversity and inclusion. We believe that true understanding and respect for other cultures and societies begins with the freedom to embrace and explore diversity. As a Danish group, we are proud of our open and tolerant society that celebrates diversity and encourages open dialogue. Therefore, our mission at DJAG is not only to spread awareness and understanding about Israel, but also to promote the Danish values of freedom and respect for all people, regardless of background or belief.
Vision
Vores vision hos DJAG, er at være et stærkt modspil til dehumanisering og fordomme ved at skabe et rum, hvor forskelligheder hyldes og respekteres. Vi tror på, at ethvert individ har ret til at blive set og hørt uden frygt for diskrimination eller fordomme. Derfor stræber vi efter at skabe et inkluderende fællesskab, hvor forskellige perspektiver og holdninger mødes med åbenhed og forståelse. Vores vision er at være et aktiv i et samfund, hvor mangfoldighed ses som en styrke, og hvor alle kan trives og bidrage på lige vilkår.
